Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026 · Applies to all Uppervox services

1. Who we are

Uppervox is a solo-operated digital-services studio run by Alexander Costa, based in Portugal and serving clients worldwide. Services are provided remotely. Contact: hello@uppervox.com.

2. How engagements work

3. What you own

On full payment, you own the deliverables produced for you — reports, websites, designs, workflows, and documentation. Where a service is set up on a third-party platform (for example an AI receptionist, chatbot, or automation platform), the platform account is created in your name and belongs to you, and you pay that platform directly at its own published rates.

4. Third-party platforms

Some services configure software operated by independent third parties. Uppervox selects and configures these platforms with care, but does not control their pricing, availability, uptime, or output, and is not responsible for their performance after handoff. Your relationship with those platforms is governed by their own terms.

5. AI-assisted work

Uppervox uses AI tools as part of its delivery process, always with human direction and review. Audit findings and recommendations are professional opinions based on available data — they are not guarantees of rankings, traffic, revenue, or other outcomes.

6. What our services are not

7. Refund policy

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uppervox's total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. Uppervox is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business, or for the acts or omissions of third-party platforms.

9. Confidentiality & data

Materials you share for an engagement are used only to deliver that engagement and are not shared with third parties except the tools required to do the work. A mutual NDA is available on request. Contact-form submissions are delivered by our form provider directly to our email; we don't run analytics that identify you personally.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes will first be addressed in good faith between the parties.

Plain-English summary: you get a written scope and a fixed price before anything starts; you own what you pay for; platforms you're set up on belong to you; refunds are real; our liability is capped at what you paid; and nothing here is legal advice — including this page, which is a general terms statement and not a substitute for advice from a lawyer.
